Ronald L. Walker

Since 1979, Walker's practice has encompassed a wide range of complex litigation that has included insurance bad faith, negligence, toxic torts, products liability and business disputes as well as CERCLA cost recovery, ground water pollution, class actions, antitrust and a variety of other subjects.  Additionally, he recently co-authored Antitrust Law: Indirect Purchaser Standing to Sue in Oklahoma - Major v. Microsoft Corporation  which was published in the Oklahoma Law Review.  The article is based on a lawsuit in which Walker represented Microsoft Corporation.  He is licensed in all Oklahoma state and federal courts, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.  He also was appointed to serve on the Temporary Lawyer-Staffed Panel of the Court of Appeals by order of the Oklahoma Supreme Court.  

His engagements have included:

Litigation counsel for Fortune 500 company in private cost recovery action under CERCLA involving pollution at former World War II United States Air Force base.

Litigation counsel for Fortune 500 company in health-related product liability cases. 

Litigation counsel for consortium of investors in federal court case involving dissolution of $100,000,000.00 Limited Liability Company.

Litigation counsel in numerous uninsured motorist, bad faith, negligence and insurance coverage cases as well as lawsuits involving securities, fraud, punitive damages and other claims.

Litigation counsel in product liability manufacturing and design defect cases involving consumer products, construction equipment, machinery and aircraft.

Litigation counsel in toxic tort litigation involving hazardous materials at Superfund site.

Litigation counsel for Fortune 500 computer software developer in class action antitrust and trade regulation cases.

Class action litigation counsel in state and federal courts involving antitrust, insurance claims and coverage, health, product liability, consumer protection and other issues.

Litigation counsel for Fortune 500 company in nationwide antitrust price-fixing class action.

Litigation counsel in many jury trials in both state and federal courts.      

 

Education:

Phillips University (B.A., Philosophy, 1976, magna cum laude); University of Oklahoma (J.D. 1979). In law school, Walker was an Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif.

Admissions/Membership:

AV Rated.  Member of the Oklahoma and American Bar Associations. Licensed in all Oklahoma state courts, all federal courts in Oklahoma, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.  He has presented continuing legal education programs for various groups, including the OBA, and was appointed to serve on the Temporary Lawyer-Staffed Panel of the Court of Appeals by order of the Oklahoma Supreme Court.  Walker is also a Master in the William J. Holloway, Jr. American Inn of Court.
